Finnish geotechnical solutions provider Geonordic has signed a new cooperation agreement with Tersus GNSS, granting Geonordic exclusive resale rights for the Luka GNSS receiver in Finland and Sweden. The partnership represents a strategic step for both companies, expanding access to high-precision positioning technology in the Nordic region while strengthening Geonordic’s offering to surveying and infrastructure professionals.
The agreement enables Geonordic to distribute Tersus’ latest GNSS technology to a broad customer base that includes surveyors, site supervisors, engineering firms and construction companies. Demand for reliable, high-precision positioning systems has continued to grow alongside increasingly digitalized construction and infrastructure workflows, particularly in environments that require robust equipment capable of performing under challenging conditions.
Established in 2019, Geonordic has positioned itself as a specialist supplier to geotechnical and environmental professionals. The company’s portfolio is built around carefully selected solutions that have been tested and validated by experienced industry practitioners. The receiver is compatible with Tersus’ Android-based TC20 and TC50 controllers, as well as other Android devices. Both Tersus controllers are rated IP68, ensuring resistance to dust and water in demanding field conditions.
For customers seeking greater independence in positioning operations, the Tersus Caster Server allows users to set up their own GNSS base station and transmit correction data via mobile networks. This flexibility enables configurations tailored to different project requirements and site conditions. The Luka GNSS receiver has also been tested according to MIL-STD-810G standards, confirming its suitability for extreme environments, including harsh weather conditions common in parts of Finland and Sweden.
With the exclusive resale agreement now in place, Geonordic is set to expand its presence in the Nordic GNSS market, offering technology that combines precision, durability and practical usability.
