To support the growing demand for value added services and derived image products, Geoimage is pleased to announce that Alisa Eustace has been appointed as Senior GeoSpatial Analyst. Alisa comes to us from the Department of Environment and Resource Management’s Remote Sensing Centre. Alisa has expertise in developing remote sensing and GeoSpatial products to support government and research organisations. Alisa will primarily be a technical lead in the GeoSpatial Solutions team, having proficiency in ArcGIS, eCognition Object Based Image Analysis and Erdas image analysis software. Alisa has previously been involved in state-wide vegetation and ground cover mapping, change detection analysis, and leading a complex project using LiDAR to map and monitor gullies in Queensland. We are pleased to expand the GeoSpatial team to provide targeted solutions and to develop cutting-edge spatial products for our Geoimage clients across a broad range of sectors. Geoimage will be working collaboratively with other organisations, to offer discipline-specific services that have natural synergies with geospatial and satellite imagery applications. Our team has experience in key services that will meet the needs of the environmental, land management and natural resource markets. Mapping, monitoring and reporting on natural environment features has significant impact on mining and exploration initiatives throughout Australia and Geoimage is actively using these skills to support projects that span many different industries and markets. As a vendor-independent provider, Geoimage will be able to identify the most appropriate data, technology and methodology to deliver results and to assist in the packaging and ongoing use of the outcomes by the client.
