Exprodat, the oil & gas software, consultancy and training supplier, has made their popular suite of petroleum ArcGIS training courses available through a ‘virtual classroom’. Virtual classroom training attendees will learn how to implement spatial technology and data in the E&P environment without having to travel to join a public course.
Those people who join Exprodat over the Internet, will receive exactly the same level of interaction with the trainer, who will be able to monitor and access the student machines, as if they had traveled to the course.
The ArcGIS software and data needed for the training courses is hosted remotely, which means attendees only need to log-in and learn.
Technical Director Chris Jepps said of the new innovation “In response to customer demand we’ve made our petroleum focused hands-on ArcGIS training courses available via a virtual classroom. You can now attend our courses from anywhere in the world without having to travel or pay accommodation costs.
This is already proving to be popular with customers looking for private courses, and we’ve also scheduled our first public virtual courses for July 2013. We’re delighted to add this new training experience to our course portfolio.”
