AI-Powered Remote Sensing Platform for Rail Removes Risks, Cuts Costs, Minimizes Project Delays and Avoids Passenger Disruptions
LAS VEGAS — Exodigo, the artificial intelligence (AI) and multi-sensing innovator modernizing underground data intelligence, today announced the successful development and deployment of an advanced underground intelligence system specifically designed for rail infrastructure projects. At the 2026 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2026) in Las Vegas, the company debuted its subsurface mapping solution for rail as well as its first successful deployment with Israel Railways.
Exodigo now provides rail systems the ability to deploy the power of its AI platform directly on railcars to easily create multi-dimensional visual models providing accurate, high-quality information about any track or railway corridor. Exodigo provides a single point of truth to prevent infrastructure damage during rail construction activities, enhance maintenance and development processes, and reduce project timeline disruptions.
In an effort to save time and cut costs for ongoing development projects while minimizing disruptions for passengers, Israel Railways and Exodigo collaborated to adapt the company’s technology platform for rail. Part of an “Innovation Challenge Tender” led by the Innovation Division, Israel Railways conducted a thorough review to identify global technological solutions for infrastructure mapping. During an extensive railway corridor pilot, Exodigo proved clear superiority and was selected after demonstrating the most advanced and impressive technology in comparative evaluations against several companies from around the globe. Israel Railways and Exodigo will now collaborate on continued infrastructure improvement and development projects.
“Israel Railways continuously works to identify and develop technological solutions that improve passenger service and maintenance efficiency. The collaboration allowed us to closely examine cutting-edge technologies, and the results presented by Exodigo demonstrate significant potential, not only for Israel Railways, but also for railway operators worldwide,” noted Avi Elmaliach, Acting CEO of Israel Railways.
Israel Railways Chairman of the Board Moshe Shimoni, Acting CEO Avi Elmalich, and Head of Innovation Hagay Rosenfeld will detail the successful completion of the development and adaptation phase and how it fits into its ambitious railway operations improvement plans at the Israel Pavilion at CES.
“Israel Railways faces challenges similar to those of railway operators around the world, including the need to maintain schedule accuracy and high-quality service while maintaining and expanding the existing network,” added Jeremy Suard, CEO and Co-Founder of Exodigo. “Exodigo’s rail solution enables railways to efficiently and systematically map all existing rail assets and introduce new capabilities for digital asset management in a dynamic environment – allowing the integration of AI-powered intelligence into infrastructure-related decision-making processes to maximize transportation services for the public.”
