EuroGeographics provided updated EuroGlobalMap, EuroRegionalMap, EuroBoundaryMap products, to Eurostat based on contract signed with them, on behalf of the European Commission. EuroBoundaryMap V6.0 supplied to Eurostat, now covers 41 countries and territories and includes the Former Yugoslav Republic Of Macedonia for the first time. EuroBoundaryMap V6.0 will be released to the market place at the end of February 2012. Existing EuroGeographics customers and EuroGeographics Distributors will be automatically sent the update.
EuroGlobalMap V5.0 supplied to Eurostat, covers 41 countries and territories and now includes Georgia, Serbia and Kosovo and the hydrographic layer has been improved. Further work is being carried out on V5.0, which includes improvement to the transportation and administrative layers. When the work has been completed V5.0 will be released to the market place in May 2012. Existing EuroGeographics customers and EuroGeographics Distributors will be automatically sent the update in May.
EuroRegionalMap V5.0 supplied to Eurostat covers 35 countries and territories and contains updated administrative and hydrographic layers. Considerable work will be carried out on this product during 2012, and a new version of EuroRegionalMap will be released to the market place in January 2013, in line with our two yearly update cycle.
