EULIS Service Launches a New Website

  • Rating12345

The European Land Information Service (EULIS) is the first and only service to offer direct access to cross-border official land registration information. EULIS is owned by a consortium of ten European land registry organisations, most of which are government departments. The website (www.eulis.eu orwww.eulis.org), launched at the beginning of February, explains the service with new innovative web tools. Theinteractive map shows which countries are currently available to search in, as well as those pending connection to the service. The unique demonstrator gives a guided tour through an example search – visitors can see a real journey logging in on the Dutch land registry, travelling through the EULIS portal and searching in the England & Wales land register. The handy registry comparison chart tells users what information they can find in each country’s land register, prices and where to find assistance.
