Dyan Gibbens to Deliver Keynote on Future of UAVs for Global Asset Owners at Commercial UAV Expo

September 24, 2015, Portland, Maine — Dyan Gibbens, CEO and Founder of Trumbull Unmanned, will deliver the keynote “UAVs: A Vision for Global Asset Owners” at Commercial UAV Expo on October 6, 2015 in Las Vegas.  Several of the world’s largest oil companies contract with Trumbull to map, monitor and inspect critical infrastructure and perform environmental remediation.

In her Keynote, she’ll share her vision for how UAS technologies will adapt to meet the growing needs of large enterprise asset owners.  “Opportunities abound as UAS sensor technology and data analytics converge to support the evolving energy sector,” according to Ms. Gibbens, a Society of Petroleum Engineers’ Distinguished Lecturer. Commercial UAV Expo will take place October 5-7, 2015 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

 Ms. Gibbens’ keynote is one of several presentations on UAVs for the process & power, utility and energy sectors taking place at Commercial UAV Expo. “UAVs are being explored as the next critical technology for many industrial segments,” said Lisa Murray, Commercial UAV Expo Director. “Our goal is to deliver education and information that address large enterprise needs and to showcase the largest exhibit floor of UAV solutions available in the market.  The energy sector is adopting the technology for myriad uses, from geologic modeling and hyperspectral imaging to pipeline monitoring and flare stack inspection.”

In addition to breakout sessions, the Conference Program features plenary sessions from industry experts sharing key insights into the issues facing large enterprise asset owners implementing UAS, including systems selection and integration; developing enterprise workflows, guidelines and policies; data management and integration; and legal, safety and regulatory considerations.
