Trimble Acquires GEOTrac to Extend PeopleNet’s Transportation and Logistics Solutions

Trimble announced today that it has acquired privately-held GEOTrac Systems Inc. of Calgary, a leading provider of wireless fleet management and worker safety solutions for the oil and gas industry. The addition of GEOTrac is expected to extend PeopleNet’s industry-leading transportation solutions to address the North American oil and gas industry. Financial terms were not disclosed.
