Agriculture requires US$2,5 billion annually to ensure adequate support for grain, cash crops and livestock production, Finance Minister Tendai Biti has said. The UK government is to kick-start an innovative project to fly radar satellites around the Earth, with an initial investment of £21m. Norwegian aluminium producer Hydro and the Powerhouse alliance are planning to retrofit old offices outside Oslo, turning them into the world’s northernmost energy-positive buildings.
