Call for Parametric Design Articles Extended Until 28 July 2010

  • Rating12345

Bentley Institute Press, the SmartGeometry Group, and the International Journal of Architectural Computing (IJAC) are extending their invitation to submit summaries of original articles for a new peer-reviewed publication about parametric design methods until 28 July 2010. The highly illustrated SmartGeometry: The Evolution of Computational Design and Practice will highlight innovative parametric design approaches that are at the intersection of research and practice. Detailed descriptions of methods that lead to actual physical constructions, as well as hypothetical projects across a range of scales, are encouraged. Elucidative examples may originate in practice, research, or education. Authors of the book include Professor Earl Mark of the University of Virginia and Professor Rob Woodbury of Simon Fraser University.  Read More
