Brasil – Award of the National Water Agency in 2010 – Register Now

Water: the Challenge of Sustainable Development. This is the theme of the third edition of the ANA in 2010, which recognizes the actions of governments, companies, NGOs, research and technological innovation, basin organizations, education and media. Those interested can register for free until day 31 with initiatives that encourage pollution and waste and suggest ways to ensure good quality water and sufficient for the development and quality of life of Brazilians.   For many audiences can participate in dispute for seven categories: government, business, NGOs, Research and Technological Innovation, Basin Organizations, Education, Press.The ANA Award 2010, which is awarded every two years, has a judging committee composed of members external to the Agency and with recognized knowledge in the area of water resources or environment. A representative of the ANA chairs the group, but without voting rights.

The criteria for evaluation of the work takes into account the following aspects: effectiveness, potential for dissemination / replication; social adhesion, originality, and social impacts, cultural and environmental. Thus, the jury will select three finalists and the winner initiatives of each of seven categories, which are known in the award ceremony scheduled for Dec. 1 in nearby location to be determined.

The seven winners will receive the Trophy Award ANA, designed by Italian master Mario Seguso glass. 
Registration

Interested parties may send their work by mail care of the Organizing Committee of the ANA Award 2010 at: SPO, Area 5, Quadra 3, Block F, room 222, Brasília-DF, CEP: 70610-200. The date of posting shall be deemed delivery.Competitors may enter more than one initiative. In addition, work may be submitted by specified third parties, provided they are accompanied by a signed declaration stated, agreeing with the statement and the regulation of the prize.
