Blue Marble Geographics will be exhibiting at the GeoDATA 2013 Seminar in Dublin, Ireland on Wednesday, June 12th, 2013. Come and see first-hand the latest enhancements found in Global Mapper 14.2. Some of the major improvements include several scripting updates, improved Volume Measurement tools, a new right-click option to the vector data search dialog, many LiDAR enhancements and added support for many new geospatial file formats. Blue Marble’s geospatial data manipulation, visualization and conversion solutions are used worldwide by thousands of GIS analysts at software, oil and gas, mining, civil engineering, surveying, and technology companies, as well as governmental and university organizations.

Join Blue Marble for this free, one day seminar appropriately themed “Measure, Map & Manage”. This seminar will bring together today’s leading spatial data professionals to share perspectives on how to fully utilize your geographic information investment.  Danielle Caron, Blue Marble’s Senior Account Manager for Europe, will be demonstrating the key benefits of Global Mapper 14.2 as well as presenting on “Low-Cost GIS for Today’s GIS Professionals”.

Global Mapper 14.2 features a variety of LiDAR enhancements, adding the ability to search by elevations and color by return value. Adjusting LiDAR display & draw modes allow users to visualize multiple return values present within a particular LiDAR dataset. This feature is excellent for performing vegetation or terrain analysis. There are also new point loading slider bar and reporting tools for point cloud density. Global Mapper 14.2 also has improved import and export options and now allows for exporting point clouds to DXF and DWG format files. These added features will be demonstrated at GeoDATA 2013 to show users how they can complete jobs faster and more efficiently, providing a greater return on their software investment.

“We are pleased to be attending GeoDATA 2013,” stated Blue Marble President Patrick Cunningham. “We know our tools can help our users be efficient and productive at a great return on their investment and we are excited to share that information with GIS professionals in the Dublin area.”
