The Blue Marble Desktop v2.3 was released in July with many updates to the primary module Geographic Calculator v7.6. The Geographic Calculator has become the standard tool for coordinate conversions worldwide. Some of the latest enhancements in this new version are the addition of six new geoid data models, including NLGEO2004 for the Netherlands and Ausgeois2009 for Australia. Along with these new geoid models, users now have the ability to apply arbitrary vertical offsets to geoid models. These enhancements highlight Blue Marble’s ability to provide specific coordinate system support based on customer feedback and industry requirements. Stop by booth 7/B55 to see why surveyors and GIS analysts around the world trust in Blue Marble technology for all of their survey GIS data conversion needs.
“We are excited to be able to showcase all that the Blue Marble Desktop has to offer to the European survey industry,” stated Blue Marble Geographics President, Patrick Cunningham. “The INTERGEO Conference is a great venue to cover all of the key trends in this ever changing business.”
