Bit Stew Systems Expands Data-Driven Automation in IIoT through New Partnership with Esri

  • Rating12345

SAN DIEGO, Oct. 29, 2015 —Today at Utility Analytics Week, Bit Stew Systems, a leader in Software Defined Operations for the Industrial Internet, announced a new partnership extending the power of Bit Stew’s MIx Core™ platform and MIx Director Suite™ by integrating with Esri.

This new partnership will benefit operators in the utility and oil and gas sectors by delivering greater operational intelligence and situational awareness.  Operators can unite and analyze massive data sets from disparate sources throughout networked operations. As a result of the technology integration, industrial organizations will be able to pull real-time sensor-based data from Esri’s geospatial information system (GIS) into MIx Director Suite in order to visualize anomalies and events across their entire operations and better monitor, manage and filter alarms and alerts.

“Bit Stew is continuing our momentum in helping industrial organizations unite and visualize all the varied data sources throughout their operations to gain actionable insights to improve operations,” said Jett Winter, EVP, Business Development, at Bit Stew Systems. “By establishing partnerships with Esri, one of the most reputable and long-standing technology solutions used throughout the utility and oil and gas industries, we can help more businesses improve industrial efficiency, sustainability, quality and safety.”

“Integrating MIx Director Suite with Esri’s GIS data is a strategic move toward establishing optimal performance for industrial businesses,” said Bill Meehan, Director of Utility Solutions at Esri. “Other available information and visualization options simply cannot match the enhanced geospatial intelligence and situational awareness delivered by the integration between Esri and Bit Stew. Our joint customers are going to benefit tremendously.”
