Manatron, Inc. announced it has acquired International Land Systems (ILS) Inc., creating a new international business arm. Manatron International, a new company created as a result of the acquisition will oversee all ILS projects in the United States. The acquisition was led by private equity firm Thoma Bravo, LLC. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Data released by market research firm IDC on Tuesday reveals that the iPad has dominated the nascent market for “media tablets” that it largely defined in 2010.
