Esri has released Business Analyst Online (BAO), Canada Edition, for its US subscribers. BAO Canada Edition gives US-based multinational corporations that do business north of the border demographic, income, and business data for Canadian markets. BAO is a web application that generates maps, analyses, and reports on demographics, competition, and consumer lifestyles and buying behavior.

Esri has joined the ocean business alliance World Ocean Council (WOC) and will support its international initiatives for sustainable development and conservation of the ocean. Esri chief scientist Dawn Wright will share her geospatial expertise with WOC’s Coastal and Marine Spatial Planning (CMSP) and Ocean Science working groups. Esri is the world leader in GIS.
