Hexacopter Measures Zero Gravity Plane, Generates Detailed 3D Model of Landing Gear

Kassel, Germany, Feb.18,015—The publicly appointed surveyors Uli Bauer and Andreas Gelhausen have generated a 3D model of the landing gear of the zero gravity Airbus A300 ZERO-G that is accurate to more than +/- 5 mm. Furthermore, they used the Aibot X6 UAV to generate a point cloud of the aircraft.
