October 27, 2015 — Teledyne Optech is pleased to announce that it will present its latest solutions for the surveying market at the 2015 Latin America Geospatial Forum (LAGF) in Mexico City on November 10-12.
Business Unit Manager Albert Iavarone will speak about the latest addition to our line-up of mobile survey solutions, the Optech Lynx SG-S. This new configuration provides an excellent price-to-performance ratio, delivering survey-grade data with a best-in-class position and orientation system while reducing costs with a single-sensor design and a lightweight mount that improves installation flexibility. With these capabilities the Lynx SG-S fills an important position between the dual-sensor Lynx SG and the mapping-grade Lynx MG, giving surveyors more options than ever before.
Mr. Iavarone will also delve into our updated suite of airborne survey options and their potential applications in Latin America. This includes the eye-safe Optech Orion C for transmission line surveying, the PulseTRAK™-equipped Optech Galaxy for efficient wide-area surveying, especially in mountainous terrain, and the multispectral Optech Titan for topo/bathy surveying, environmental monitoring, and land classification projects.
News about Teledyne Optech’s other survey systems will be available at booth 32. Mining professionals will be particularly interested in how the new Optech CMS V500 cavity monitoring system can boost safety and productivity underground, and how they can quickly survey open-pit mines by pairing the Optech ILRIS terrestrial laser scanner with the camera-equipped Optech XR6 UAV. Staff will also be on hand to explain how surveyors can charter the Optech CZMIL Nova airborne lidar bathymeter through the CZMIL Project Program to execute surveys in water deeper and more turbid than any other lidar can handle.
