MatrixSpace’s Matt Kling joins SIA drone security subcommittee

MatrixSpace announced that Matt Kling, vice president and general manager of AI Systems, has joined the Security Industry Association’s (SIA) Drone Security Subcommittee, bringing the company’s expertise in AI-powered counter-unmanned aircraft systems (C-UAS) to one of the security industry’s leading organizations.

The subcommittee educates the security industry on C-UAS technologies, legal considerations, training and strategies to mitigate drone-related threats. Kling’s appointment reflects MatrixSpace’s commitment to advancing secure airspace through collaboration with industry, government and standards organizations.

“Bringing industry experts like Matt Kling to the table is critical as the subcommittee continues to grow in a meaningful direction,” said Lauren Bresette, associate director of government relations at SIA. “We are excited to work with him as momentum around UAS and C-UAS continues to accelerate.”

A recognized expert in C-UAS technology, autonomy and AI-powered sensing systems, Kling has played a key role in developing MatrixSpace’s AI-enabled sensing and counter-drone capabilities.
