India’s Department of Science & Technology (DST) and IN-SPACe are honoured with the Integrated Sovereign Space and Geospatial Infrastructure Award at the Geospatial World Leadership Awards 2026, held on 29th April 2026 at the Geospatial World Forum in Amsterdam.
From the Geospatial Guidelines of 2021 to the National Geospatial Policy of 2022 and Indian Space Policy of 2023, India has built an integrated ecosystem where space and geospatial capabilities grow together — growing space startups from 1 in 2014 to 300+ by 2025.
