Bricsnet and MABEC Group Announce Strategic Alliance

  • Rating12345

Bricsnet FM America, Inc. and MABEC Group, Inc. today formalized a strategic alliance to create a bi-directional data exchange between cloud-based BIM databases and Bricsnet, the corporate real estate/facilities management tool. “Data exchange between Building Information Models and Geospatial Information Systems will greatly increase the ability of Integrated Workplace Management Systems to improve productivity for corporate real estate executives and facility managers,” says David Karpook, Chief Executive Officer of Bricsnet, which is based in San Francisco.
“Representing FM/RE data in multiple Building Information Models on Google Earth and other geospatial systems will allow owners with a multi-building portfolio to have real-time understanding of their work orders, equipment asset inventory and other operational concerns. Performance, leases, space utilization & occupancy are among the metrics we will be visualizing,” says Karpook.

MABEC Group president Ryan Ghere indicated the BIM-to-FM focused alliance supports one of its three core business goals. “Working with Bricsnet to share data from Building Information Models with Facility Management software for improved Integrated Workplace Management System operations will be of great interest to data-conscious portfolio managers,” Ghere says. “Improved executive decision making is possible with graphic reports on Google Earth with input from software such as Bricsnet, ONUMA System and other open standards based software.” Read More
