Terrabotics Joins the Geological Remote Sensing Group

  • Rating12345

The Geological Remote Sensing Group (GRSG) has expanded its membership once again with the recent news that providers of actionable terrain intelligence, Terrabotics have joined as the latest corporate member.

The skilled earth observation technicians and computer scientists at Terrabotics can fuse intelligent automation solutions and expert insight using an abundant supply of Earth Observation and aerial imagery to provide clients, in energy and natural resources, with an incredibly cost-effective way to remotely measure and monitor their valuable assets.

The increased availability of data, both from space and other technologies leads to short enough times between images that makes it ideal for monitoring applications.  A key task that Terrabotics can perform is to make this vast amount of data manageable and useful by focusing on the solution rather than the specific input imagery source.

GRSG Chairman, Charlotte Bishop commented on the latest company to join the GRSG; “I am delighted that Terrabotics has elected to join as a corporate member. Their innovative technology and solutions bring yet further diversity to the wide breadth we already have within the GRSG membership.”

In response Gareth Morgan, Managing Director of Terrabotics explained why his company had decided to the join the GRSG; “We are fusing the very latest satellite image analysis techniques with deep experience of geoscience applications, so it makes perfect sense for us to support the GRSG given the established pedigree of its membership in our focus areas. We look forward to being an active part of the community
