Deadlines Approaching for URISA Abstract Submissions

Submit abstracts for 2012 URISA conferences and share your ideas, research and success stories with your peers. URISA invites abstract submissions from the GIS community for three conferences:
 
·         Abstract submissions for the 2012 URISA/NENA Addressing Conference are due on or before Monday, February 13. The conference will take place August 6-9, 2012 in Memphis, Tennessee. It is the only conference where GIS professionals, addressing coordinators, 9-1-1 and emergency response specialists come together for education and networking. Abstracts are being sought on a wide range of topics from Next Gen 9-1-1 Standards to Solving Funding Issues. For details: http://www.urisa.org/addressing/2012memphis
 
·         URISA’s 50th year of fostering education and professional connections will be celebrated at its annual conference this year. GIS-Pro 2012: URISA’s 50th Annual Conference for GIS Professionals will take place September 30 to October 4, 2012 in Portland, Oregon. Abstracts are being sought on topics ranging from Data Storage to GIS Return on Investment. Submissions are due on or before Friday, February 17. ·         URISA’s Sixth Caribbean GIS Conference is taking place in Montego Bay, Jamaica during the week of November 12, 2012. Abstract submissions are invited through Monday, April 2, 2012.
