MINNEAPOLIS – February 19, 2016 — East View Geospatial has teamed with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research Operational Satellite Programme (UNOSAT) to conduct damage assessments for conflict areas in Syria and Iraq.

East View Geospatial’s analysis of satellite imagery enables UNOSAT to determine habitable structures before and after security force operations, isolating areas in need of humanitarian relief. Recent projects indexed nearly 200,000 structures across the region as a result of the partnership.
UNOSAT delivers imagery analysis and satellite solutions to relief and development organizations to help make a difference in critical areas such as humanitarian relief, human security, strategic territorial and development planning.
