Coastal Risk Consulting and InterNACHI Announce Strategic Marketing Partnership

  • Rating12345

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. and BOULDER, Colo., July 16, 2015 — Coastal Risk Consulting, LLC (CRC), the leading online flood prediction technology company, and the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors, Inc. (InterNACHI), have entered into a joint marketing agreement enabling nearly 14,000 certified home inspectors to provide CRC’s break-through flood forecast service to over 50 million coastal properties in the U.S.

Special pricing of CRC’s services is being made available to InterNACHI members at a discount from CRC’s retail price schedule. InterNACHI members in turn are able to add CRC’s comprehensive flood-risk assessment products to the portfolio of services they offer residential and commercial clients.

CRC’s online Coastal Risk Rapid Assessment™ (www.coastalriskrapidassessment.com) and Flood Inundation Risk Score and Table (FIRST Score™) document the frequency and severity of flooding for an individual property over a 30-year mortgage cycle. The need for better flood risk information at individual properties has never been greater. Chronic and increasing ‘nuisance’ or sunny-day’ flooding from rising sea levels and tidal flooding already affects coastal cities such as Annapolis, Norfolk, Miami Beach, and many others in coastal zones.

“Better information leads to better decision making,” said Albert J. Slap, CRC’s President. “Knowing the risk of flooding is priceless information.  Coastal Risk Consulting’s flood-risk analysis enables private or public property owners as well as prospective buyers to make more informed decisions about the resilience of their real estate assets in the face of inexorably rising sea levels and other climate impacts.”

“Coastal Risk Consulting’s products and services are unique in the home inspection industry,” said Nick Gromicko, founder of InterNACHI.  “We are delighted to make this outstanding resource available to our members as they continually seek to add value to the professional services they offer their customers.”
