California, CA, July 6, 2015 — GeoShot Technologies has successfully completed Power Line Mapping of 560 Kms for a leading European LiDAR Survey Company. In the project, GeoShot Technologies performed data calibration, classification and transmission line modeling.
Airborne LiDAR(Light Detection and Ranging) widely used technology for Power line Mapping due to its data efficiency and cost-effective outputs. The Georeferenced LiDAR data is extremely useful to get the terrain, tower location, tower structure, power line catenary models, and vegetation.
