  • Rating12345

Cambridge, Feb.16, 2015—1Spatial plc, the spatial big data company, is pleased to announce its successful renewal, as a supplier, to The Crown Commercial Service (CCS) G-Cloud framework.

G-Cloud aims to make it easier for government departments, local authorities, NHS and the wider public sector organisations to procure cloud-based services, through a pre-approved catalogue hosted on the CCS Digital Marketplace.

As part of the latest G-Cloud release, which is the 6th edition since it was launched, 1Spatial has expanded its offerings now available through the Digital Marketplace. Along with the SaaS Spatial Data Validation Service originally available, the company can now also provide GIS data, FME Cloud and Land Parcel Identification specialist cloud services. Alison Masters, CMO, 1Spatial said: “We are delighted to be successful with our supplier renewal to the CCS G-Cloud framework. We are already working closely with government departments and organisations across the country and look forward to being able to increase these relationships further through the G-Cloud. The innovative cloud-based services we have made available enable users and organisations to easily overcome their spatial data challenges, saving time and cost compared with on-premise software solutions.”

The Crown Commercial Service works with both departments and organisations across the whole of the public sector to ensure maximum value is extracted from every commercial relationship and improve the quality of service delivery. The CCS goal is to become the “go-to” place for expert commercial and procurement services.

The CCS goal is to become the “go-to” place for expert commercial and procurement services.

With both service delivery and advisory capability, services include contract management and supplier          performance management to ensure that the Government acts as a true, single customer; freeing up individual organisations to focus their procurement expertise on what is unique to them.
