Geocent to Distribute OpenGeo Suite in the Gulf South

OpenGeo is well known for its contributions and leadership in the development and evolution of powerful open source geospatial technologies. The OpenGeo Suite offers a fully integrated open source geospatial platform for serving maps and data through web applications, mobile devices, and desktop clients. The OpenGeo Suite Enterprise Edition is comprised of tested, integrated and supported geospatial components GeoServer, OpenLayers, GeoWebCache, PostGIS and GeoExt. Geocent will be an official distributor of the OpenGeo Suite in the Gulf South, while having privileged access to OpenGeo for support. Upon making the announcement, Zach Rouse of Geocent said, “Blending Geocent’s disaster management knowledge with OpenGeo’s Enterprise Suite and reach back expertise, gives our customers the functionality, flexibility, and reliability required for real-time geospatial solutions.”
