Exprodat Builds on Petroleum ArcGIS Training Success in Houston

  • Rating12345

Exprodat, the UK-based provider of petroleum GIS services, software and training, is running another series of their popular ArcGIS-based petroleum training courses in Houston, Texas.

Following a very successful and well attended series of courses last year, Exprodat trainers will be in Houston in February and March, working with training partners; Petroskills and TeachMeGIS to teach oil and gas exploration and production staff how to benefit from using ArcGIS.

David Crowther, Exprodat Training Manager commented on the forthcoming courses: “Exprodat are looking forward to delivering our Petroleum specific ArcGIS courses in Houston through our training partners Petroskills and TeachMeGIS.

Our petroleum specific courses meet the training demands of GIS users interested in both managing spatial data and using GIS technology for geological analysis. We had great success in the courses that we delivered in 2013 and through our partnership programmes we will ensure that individuals are offered the chance to attend GIS courses which are most relevant to their role within the E&P industry.”

Exprodat’s petroleum ArcGIS training courses are designed to ensure that attendees return to their offices with new knowledge and capabilities that will have a real impact on their effectiveness. The courses teach not only the basics of how to use ArcGIS software but also how to effectively implement ArcGIS within petroleum workflows.
