1Spatial is proud to sponsor the AGI Student of the Year Award, which will be announced at a glittering awards ceremony in London on 5 December 2013. The industry award is just one of the ways that the AGI, the UK’s geospatial membership body, looks to encourage best practice, innovation and maximum use of geographic information. AGI’s mission is to maximise the use of
geographic information (GI) for the benefit of the citizen, good governance and commerce.

The award is judged on the basis of a project in the field of geographic information handling and analysis, involving work over a period of at least three months, which shows evidence of approval or esteem from external organisations.
