OpenGeo to Present at Geoinformatics Forum 2012 in Salzburg, Austria

OpenGeo, the company committed to bringing the best enterprise open source geospatial software and support to organizations and governments worldwide, will be an active participant in this year’s Geoinformatics Forum taking place in Salzburg, Austria from July 3-6, 2012 at the University of Salzburg. This international, English-language event will run concurrently with the highly regarded German language conference on Applied Geoinformatics (AGIT), and sharing the innovative AGIT EXPO exhibit.

On the afternoon of Wednesday, July 4, 2012, OpenGeo’s CEO Eddie Pickle will be providing an update on OpenGeo’s developing spatial data infrastructure, GeoNode. His talk, “GeoNode: Incorporating Geovisualization in Support of SDI” will be a part of the Spatial Information & Society II block. This talk is the much anticipated follow up to Mr. Pickle’s presentation on GeoNode at 2011 GI_Forum.

Of the conference, Pickle says, “OpenGeo is happy to once again be a part of the GI_Forum and reconnect with our peers in Central Europe.
