“Mashathon” Announced for the USGS National Map Users Conference

  • Rating12345

The USGS has heard from many map users and developers that they would like to showcase their efforts and learn more about using The National Map services, viewer and data. To address these desires, the upcoming The National Map Users Conference (TNM UC), has added a “mashathon.” A geospatial mashathon is similar to “map galleries,” using multiple data sources. Submissions can be live or in ‘beta,’ working demo or screenshots, maps or applications, in your favorite tools or in The National Map Viewer. Submissions can be web applications, geoprocessing tasks, mobile applications, maps – anything showing The National Map data, services, or applications in use. Rules and more information can be found at TNM UC website.
