Safe Software Announces Worldwide Events to Introduce Latest Advancements in Spatial Data Transformation

  • Rating12345

Safe Software, the global leader in spatial data transformation, announced today the kick-off of the FME 2011 World Tour, a customer event series that will be held in 25+ cities worldwide starting this March. Co-hosted with Safe Software’s partners, these one-day free events will offer the opportunity to experience the latest capabilities in FME 2011 and to discover how FME technology is being used today to access, use and share spatial data.

The FME 2011 World Tour will offer an interactive experience for attendees to learn firsthand how FME can be used to easily master data interoperability challenges. Through technical sessions and customer presentations, attendees will learn how FME empowers users to take control of their spatial data, including CAD, GIS, LiDAR / Point Cloud, Raster, XML and KML data.

“With FME 2011, we have introduced ground-breaking new capabilities” says Dale Lutz, Vice-President of Development at Safe Software. “We are excited to have the opportunity to share how these advancements in spatial data transformation will help our customers to gain even more complete access to their data.”

The theme for this year’s event series is “Join the League of FME Superheroes” where attendees will discover how with FME as their side-kick, they too can defeat evil data interoperability villains and become their organization’s Spatial Superhero.

Both Safe Software customers and those interested in learning more about FME technology are invited to register for these FREE events. Visit www.safe.com/FME2011WorldTourPR to learn more.
