Growing Location-based Applications in Retail, Financial Services and Transport sectors: How can the UK Location Programme help? Aimed at end-users of Location-based Applications/GIS in the above sectors, the objectives of the workshop are to: – increase awareness of what is being provided under the UK Location Programme and discuss how the use of these facilities across the sectors can be maximised. The programme has been structured to reflect these objectives with the morning session focusing on the ‘here and now’, and the afternoon looking at future needs.
