Autodesk, Inc. announced that a new Autodesk Showcase visualization software community is now part of the AREA — Autodesk’s digital entertainment and visualization community website. The Showcase software community offers a blog, forum and product page, which includes videos, tutorials and a free download of the Showcase Viewer*. Showcase software users can join the community to connect with their peers and learn from Autodesk digital prototyping and design visualization experts.

“With over 312,000 members, the AREA is a thriving community for digital entertainment and visualization professionals,” said Karim Salabi, Autodesk vice president, Visual Communications Group. “The site offers great learning resources and helps to connect Autodesk software users with our product experts and development teams. I encourage all Showcase software users to visit the AREA and join our community.”

The AREA community is free to join. To register, visit area.autodesk.com.

About Autodesk Showcase

Autodesk Showcase visualization software facilitates informed decision making on digital prototypes. Showcase simplifies and accelerates the task of creating accurate, highly realistic imagery from 3D CAD data to convey form and create environmental context to communicate brand character. The software helps users to present and review designs in an environment that allows team members to make reliable decisions, locally and via remote sessions— resulting in an efficient and economical design review process.
