earthmine’s New Widget for ArcGIS Viewer for Flex

  • Rating12345

earthmine, inc. today announced the immediate availability of the earthmine Widget for the ArcGIS Viewer for Flex, providing a simple way for earthmine and ArcGIS users to publish their geospatial data and earthmine 3D street level imagery to the web. The earthmine Widget is built with earthmine’s Software Development Kit (SDK) for Flash and delivers an “out of the box”, no-programming solution for users with little or no software development expertise.

“Many of our customers are already utilizing the earthmine add-in for ArcMap to populate and update their geodatabases,” said John Ristevski, co-CEO of earthmine Inc. “With the immediate availability of our Widget, users have a simple way to publish their spatial data in conjunction with earthmine imagery to the web.”

The earthmine Widget joins a growing library of third-party solutions extending the functionality of the ArcGIS Viewer for Flex. The earthmine product includes a variety of features including direct overlay of spatial data from the geodatabase onto earthmine 3D imagery, a comprehensive set of 3D navigation tools and an array of measurement tools for taking real world measurements.

“earthmine’s 3D imagery brings tremendous value to GIS,” said Lawrie Jordan, Esri’s Director of Imagery. “The accessibility of the data across web, desktop and mobile platforms makes it particularly interesting to ArcGIS users.”
