Over 320 Innovations Submitted for Agritechnica 2011

DLG). Agritechnica is the world’s largest forum for presenting new agricultural machinery and equipment. This year the exhibition more than meets this distinction. Over 320 innovations have been submitted to the organizer DLG (Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft – German Agricultural Society).

This can be rated as a clear indication that the manufacturers of agricultural machinery and equipment are launching an innovations campaign for the coming years. An impartial, international Innovations Commission made up of experts from the fields of research and academia, consultancy and practical farming, selects Gold and Silver Medal winners from among the submissions on the basis of strict criteria. The Gold Medals will be presented by DLG President Carl-Albrecht Bartmer and German Federal Minister of Agriculture Ilse Aigner at the traditional Max Eyth Evening at Agritechnica on 14 November 2011. The DLG President will present the Silver Medals at a ceremony in Forum 2, Stand E29 in Hall 19, at 9.30 a.m. on Sunday, 13 November 2011.
