Société Topographie Informatique (STI) Adds GXL-Aerial System

PCI Geomatics  has announced it delivered a GeoImaging Accelerator (GXL) Aerial processing system to Société Topographie Informatique (STI), a leading Aerial Surveying firm based in Evry, France. The GXL Aerial system will allow STI to orthorectify and mosaic thousands of UltraCam images per day through the power of distributed processing that leverages Graphics Processing Units (GPUs). The adoption of this technology will result in significantly increased throughput and reduced production costs for STI. GXL Aerial was developed by PCI Geomatics and introduced to the marketplace in October 2010, providing support for Microsoft UltraCam’s digital frame camera series. Read More
