Nature SDIplus Workshop – Hungary

The Nature-SDIplus is a Best Practice Network development project co-funded by the European Commission under the eContentplus Programme. It is aimed at harmonizing EU national datasets on nature conservation, stimulating the community of stakeholders; sharing best practices, improving the exploitation and access to the datasets. In such a view, NATURE-SDIplus aims to support the implementation of the INSPIRE Directive at EU level.



On the 11th of November, a NatureSDIplus workshop will be held at the building of the Ministry of Water and Environment (KvVM). The event will be opened by Dr. Ákos Detrekői (Member of the Hungarian Academy and Science, President of National Board for Communications and Information Technology). The topics of the presentations will focus on NATURE-SDIplus project and more generally the implementation of INSPIRE in Hungary by the following parties: KvVM, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (FVM) and Institute of Surveying and Remote Sensing (FÖMI). Presentations will be followed by discussion sessions, to offer the participants the opportunity to share their views.
