“Geohazard Supersites” is a an initiative in the sprit of GEO, providing access to spaceborne and in-situ geophysical data (multi-sensor SAR, GPS, seismic, etc.) addressing earthquake, volcano, and other hazards. The space component of the initiative is led by ESA and NASA; easy access to Earth science data will promote their use and advance scientific research, ultimately leading to reduced loss of life from natural hazards.
