Activities Related to gvSIG at FOSS4G 2010

More than 700 people will attend FOSS4G 2010 from 6th to 10th September in Barcelona (Spain). Besides taking part in the official scheduled activities, the gvSIG Association will be present with a stand where a series of demos/technical presentations will be carried out. For those who have the opportunity to attend FOSS4G, this is the scheduled activities related to the gvSIG project:

– Official activities:

6th Monday:
Workshop. gvSIG 1.9 user workshop.

7th Tuesday:
Opening Session: Beyond Open Source Software.
Presentation. New functionalities in gvSIG Mobile.
Presentation. A comparison of GIS Mobile applications.

8th Wednesday:
Tutorial. gvSIG Mobile and Mini tutorial.

10th Friday:
Code Sprint. gvSIG Desktop

– Activities at the Asociation gvSIG Stand:

8th Wednesday:
10:00-10:30. gvSIG Desktop: Advanced symbology, labelling and legends
15:00-15:30. gvSIG Desktop: Raster tools.
16:30-17:00. gvSIG Desktop: Navtable.

9th Thursday:
10:00-10:30. gvSIG Desktop. Network Analyst.
11:00-11:30. gvSIG Mobile and gvSIG Mini.
12:00-12:30. gvSIG Desktop. Publish Extension.
