Yunnan Power Grid Corporation (YNPG), a subsidiary of China Southern Power Grid and based in Yunnan province, China, has selected Intergraph® geospatial solutions to manage its power transmission and distribution supply across the entire Yunnan province. The Intergraph technology will be used to build an integrated electricity transmission and distribution model that complies with the Common Information Model (CIM) standard, the first of its kind in China. YNPG will use Intergraph’s geospatial solutions for its provincial level transmission and distribution management system pilot project in Yunnan province, with support for its grid monitoring system (GMS).
