Call for Papers – 3D GeoInfo Conference 2012

We invite you to join us in the beautiful City of Quebec, Canada on May 16th and 17th 2012 for the 7th edition of the 3D GeoInfo international conference co-organized by the Geomatics Department – Laval University and the GEOIDE Network. 3D GeoInfo 2012 is part of the Global Geospatial Conference 2012, an important joint event including GSDI World Conference (GSDI 13), GEOIDE Annual Scientific Conference (GEOIDE 2012), and Canadian Geomatics Conference (CGC 2012).

3D GeoInfo conference offers an interdisciplinary forum in the fields of 3D spatial data acquisition and modelling, reconstruction and methods for building up 3D representations, spatial data management for maintenance of 3D geo information, and 3D analyses and visualization. 3D GeoInfo conference is an excellent occasion to bring together international researchers and practitioners, facilitating the dialogue on emerging topics in the field of 3D geo-information.

We invite you to submit full papers (up to 6000 words) or extended abstracts (1000-1500 words) describing original and unpublished fundamental scientific research and application related to 3D Geoinformation. All manuscripts will be subject to a double-blind review process. Accepted full papers will be published within the Lecture Notes in Geoinformation and Cartography (LNG&C) series by Springer. Accepted extended abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings with ISBN/ISSN reference. A selection of high-quality papers will be accepted for oral presentation at the conference.
