MundoGEO#Connect LatinAmerica 2012 Will Have Exclusive Magazine About the Event

MundoGEO#Connect LatinAmerica 2012 (http://mundogeoconnect.com), the largest gathering of geospatial industry in Latin America, which will take place on May 29 thru 31, at the Frei Caneca Convention Center, in San Paulo (SP), Brazil, will feature an exclusive publication with the main supporters of the event, highlights of the program, the latest news in products and services, as well as interviews with business leaders about the current geospatial market in Latin America.

The magazine will be a guide that lists the companies attending at the fair, which already accounts for more than 50 stands. Through it, participants can check for free, who made presence at MundoGEO#Connect LatinAmerica 2012. The publication will be available for download on the website after the event. “The magazine is a recollection about everything that will happen in the event. It will contain the program of forums, seminars and courses, the news that each company will present at the fair, in addition to the reviews of the top entrepreneurs on the geospatial market” said Eduardo Freitas, technical coordinator of MundoGEO#Connect LatinAmerica 2012.

In 2011, more than 30 companies were present at the fair, and they were all part of MundoGEO#Connect magazine. In addition to that, more than 100 speakers and debaters from the program of MundoGEO#Connect (which happened June 14 to 16), between representatives of public and private companies, were present. According to Emerson Granemann, director and publisher of MundoGEO, the event will have several seminars, workshops and parallel events that will discuss trends in GIS, remote sensing, land surveying, GPS and spatial data infrastructures in the areas of oil & gas, mining, government, agribusiness, environment, among others.

“We have a lot of innovations in this second edition. The award ceremony was expanded to choose the best professionals, institutions, companies and brands, upon voting on the Internet throughout the geospatial community,” says Emerson.
