  • Rating12345

Office workers on-the-go can now print from virtually any mobile device to Xerox Corporation’s multifunction printers (MFPs) with EFI’s new cloud-based solution, PrintMe. “We want to give our customers as many mobile print options as possible to meet their needs wherever business takes them,” said Elizabeth Fox, vice president, Solutions Business Unit, Xerox.

“Xerox’s Mobile Print Solution allows workers to print from email-enabled smartphones, tablets and laptops –confidentially and on-demand. Public cloud printing through EFI PrintMe is a great addition to our offering.” With EFI PrintMe, workers simply upload their documents to http://www.PrintMe.com or email them from their favorite mobile device to [email protected]. Jobs are sent via the cloud to any Extensible Interface Platform® -enabled Xerox MFP. A document ID code is then emailed to the user to securely release the document for printing on demand. “EFI has provided mobile print solutions for almost a decade,” said Toby Weiss, senior vice president, EFI. “We’re advancing our leadership position with a new, simple way for Xerox customers to print anywhere without hassle.” EFI PrintMe is available in North America through Xerox direct sales, agents, resellers, dealers and Global Imaging Systems, A Xerox Company.
