Today, Microsoft announced the release of the final Windows Phone 7 developer tools, which features two new, and very crucial, controls for developers – pivot and panorama – and with the RTM code, developers can now see exactly what Windows Phone customers will experience, providing a greater opportunity for ISVs to fine-tune their apps in time for Marketplace Open App Submission. As part of this release, Bing Maps introduced new resources to help developers maximize their profit from their Windows Phone 7 apps and to heighten the end-user experience. Bing Maps, the default mapping service on Windows Phone 7, is fully integrated into the Windows Phone 7 Developer Toolkit with the Bing Maps Control SDK, making it simpler and free for developers to build Bing mobile mapping applications.
