Mint Wins Prestigious International Design Excellence Award

Evolution Robotics, Inc., a leading robotics technology company, today announced that Mint™, an automatic floor cleaning appliance designed exclusively for hard surface floor cleaning, has been awarded a silver IDEA (International Design Excellence Award) in the “Home Living” category by the Industrial Design Society of America. The 2010 International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA®) competition is a celebration of the year’s most inventive and creative product and product concept designs, and is one of the world’s most prestigious and recognizable design competitions. This year’s competition received the most entries since it began 30 years ago and Mint was selected from submissions which came from 29 countries. Out of 405 finalists, 37 were honored with the Gold award; while 64 received the Silver award and 87 won the Bronze award.
