The Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC®) membership has voted to adopt the OGC GeoAPI 3.0 Interface Standard as an official OGC standard. The GeoAPI standard provides a set of Java® language interfaces based on the ISO 19100 series of geospatial abstract models for metadata and feature geometry as well as two OGC Abstract Specifications for metadata and coordinate reference systems.
