The SENSORNETS Conference (The 6th International Conference on Sensor Networks) organized by INSTICC (Institute for Systems and Technologies of Information, Control and Communication) will take place from 19 to 21 of February 2017 in Porto, Portugal.
The SENSORNETS aims at creating a meeting point of researchers and practitioners that address new challenges in Sensor Networks. The conference welcomes original papers of either practical or theoretical nature, presenting research or applications, of specialized or interdisciplinary nature, addressing any aspect of Sensor Networks.
One of the most important contributions that SENSORNETS brings about is the creation of a high-level forum in collaboration with the most prestigious internationally recognized experts, including names such as César Benavente-Peces (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Spain) as a Conference Chair, Eric Fleury (INRIA Grenoble – Rhône-Alpes, France) and Andreas Ahrens (Hochschule Wismar, University of Technology Business and Design, Germany) as a Program co-Chairs. SENSORNETS 2017 will have invited keynote speakers, who are internationally recognized experts in their areas, such as: Nirwan Ansari (New Jersey Institute of Technology, United States), Nancy Cam-Winget (Cisco Systems, United States) and Mirko Presser (Alexandra Instituttet, Denmark).
All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings, under an ISBN reference, on paper and on CD-ROM support.
SCITEPRESS is a member of CrossRef (http://www.crossref.org/) and every paper is given a DOI (Digital Object Identifier).
All papers presented at the conference venue will be available at the SCITEPRESS Digital Library.
A short list of papers presented at conference venue, will be invited to submit to publication in a special issue of Sensors & Transducers Journal.
The proceedings will be submitted for indexation by Thomson Reuters Conference Proceedings Citation Index (ISI), INSPEC, DBLP, EI (Elsevier Engineering Village Index) and Scopus.
