  • Rating12345

The 6th Digital Earth Summit, together with a celebration of the tenth anniversary of ISDE, will be held on 7-8 July 2016 in Beijing, China.

This series of summits is one of the academic events regularly organized by the International Society for Digital Earth (ISDE), who have successfully held five summits since 2006.

With the theme of “Digital Earth in the Era of Big Data”, this Summit will offer a great opportunity for scientists, engineers, technologists, managers and other stakeholders to exchange scientific and technical knowledge and to seek research ideas and cooperation opportunities in the field of Digital Earth. During the summit, the tenth anniversary of ISDE will be celebrated. Since the establishment of ISDE in May 2006, great strides have been made with the fruitful efforts of the global Digital Earth community. This will be a good opportunity to look back on the history and achievements of the movement, and look ahead into the future of Digital Earth.

We hope that through this event some new insights, initiatives and international collaborative efforts will be generated to better understand our digital representation of the planet. You are warmly welcomed to participate in the 6th Digital Earth Summit and ISDE’s 10th Anniversary.

Sincerely, Organizing Committee 6th Digital Earth Summit & ISDE 10th Anniversary
